FOLLOWING YOUR OWN INNER GUIDANCE

I am sharing this email I wrote in 2011 with you today to encourage you to continue following your own inner guidance. When you listen your path will unfold like magic.

11 years ago almost to the day, I experienced my first plant medicine ceremony with Ayahuasca. I was in a dark place at the time and spirit had led me to connect with the right people. I knew I needed help shifting so I opened to the possibilities of plant medicine. In this journey I shared my heart's desire with Grandmother Aya about wanting to connect with wild dolphins and she confirmed being with the dolphins in Hawaii would be very healing for me. Two months later I put my city condo on the market with the intention of moving to the Big Island of Hawaii. I knew I was embarking on an adventure that would change my life. The synchronicities continued to align when I found Trish & Doug Hackett’s dolphins spirit of Hawaii website. With tears rolling down my face, I knew I had to connect with them.

I emailed Trish Jan.30, 2011 and I told her that my tears guide me and when things are in alignment I cry. That I know I am meant to be with them and the dolphins on Big Island. Here’s a portion of that original email…

“I am a very sensitive and intuitive soul and I am in need of some guidance. I have so much love, passion and energy with nowhere to direct it and I am lost in "that dark hole". I put on a good face but I have been very unhappy for quite some time. I have a good life with family and friends. I own my home. I have my own personal training and yoga company. But I have lost touch with my life energy. I haven't been singing since my band broke up a few years ago. I work only enough to keep myself going. I have lost my motivation and passion for life. I can't continue the way I have been living. It's affecting my whole being. I've been crying a lot lately. I have a dream to connect with people on an emotional level and help awaken them to their spirits within.

So, I'm moving to the sun and ocean to reconnect, rebuild, restore and re-awaken the beautiful being that I am. I have been dreaming about swimming with wild dolphins since I was a child…”.

Trish replied and I joined their next dolphin retreat. Being with my soul family in Hawaii and the dolphins activated many of my gifts. That step on my journey accelerated my learning and healing. Of course many more synchronicities followed over the last 10 years and what I want to express is don’t give up on you. You are meant for great things and I know dreams do come true because I am living mine. Keep following your inner guidance and reach out for support when you need it.

There is nothing more fulfilling and magical to feel aligned with ones purpose and hearts desires.
